The elected office will serve for five years.
Fred Awuor will lead the Kenya Basketball Referees Association (KBRA) for another five years after he was elected unopposed in polls held on Saturday 7 January.
The referee body was set to have its elections in January last year just after the federation held theirs but the exercise was delayed for almost a year.
Awuor and his assistant David Maina, first vice chair and Eric Omondi second vice chair will continue serving in the same capacities as they also went unchallenged.
Meanwhile, Abbas Ulaya who served as the assistant treasurer in the previous office has been elected the association's secretary, taking over the reigns from the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Secretary General (SG) Ambrose Kisoi.
Daina Mayaka will serve as his assistant, a role that was held by Carol Ouma in the previous office. Ouma has been elected assistant to Theophilus Okano in the treasurer's office.
Thomas Mutuku who was the treasurer now joins the leadership as a co-opted member alongside Maurice Omondi and Hazel Agina. Mutuku and Agina replace Dave Michael and June Olouch with Omondi maintaining his position.
